Ever have one of those moments when you know that your life isn’t that interesting but you still feel compelled to blog? I haven’t felt that way in a while. But something funny happened to me on Facebook last week.
I’m always complaining how no guys ever express their undying love for me or has any interest in me. Well, last Thursday I was listening to Jefferson Airplane’s rendition of “Somebody to Love”. I felt it necessary to make this my Facebook status. “Xander would love somebody to love.” I then commented “Me first.” A guy, a friend of my brother’s, then replied “…then me.”
I was intrigued. So I naturally replied, “So, how do we go about making this happen?”
Guy: “We’d have to meet first.”
X: “Tell me more.”
Guy: “What do you want to know?”
X: “The Whens and Wheres and Hows.”
He stopped replying. I thought, “Fuck! I scared him away!” So I sent him a private message asking him out and he replied the next day that we’d meet up on Tuesday. Just a meet and greet. Cool. Things came up and it didn’t happen, but we’ve rainchecked.
